"Pithy, witty, funny and on top of the news. What blogs are to political commentary, the Daily Scribble is to the editorial cartoon. I keep coming back for more." Joshua Micah Marshall, Talking Points Memo.
"Though Charles Pugsley Fincher would do well to find a stage name, his daily scribbles are nothing to scoff at. Plain and simple, on lined yellow scratch paper, yet they speak volumes." Jacob Wheeler, Utne.com.
After losing Internet service yesterday morning until 11 p.m., numerous calls to techs in India, and crashing my system several times, I felt like having some fun ... I guess. Before I got to this, I had to ink my other project Thadeus & Weez for it's weekly deadline. Regardless, I did have fun doing this one where cops bust the French fry connection and arrest Ronald McDonald.
It obviously plays off recent news reports about the Cleveland Clinic trying to move McDonald's off the hospital campus. I'm pretty much a libertarian about what you put inside yourself, though I think it's great when orgs inform us about foods, etc. , leaving us to make the choices ... if we can. There is something about those genes, isn't there.
